I miei primi passi ad Anticoli Corrado / My first steps in Anticoli Corrado

Ciao, sono Tony, sono Anticoli Corrado e in questo progetto un mese e mezzo, e vorrei raccontarvi la mia prima esperienza:

Imparare e crescere, viaggiare e nuove esperienze

Stiamo lavorando su problemi e argomenti come ...

Ambiente, sviluppo sostenibile, turismo, integrazione e riattivazione del territorio.

Ho deciso di diventare un volontario perché ...

Non avevo mai vissuto fuori dalla Spagna, non avevo avuto un'esperienza all'estero e, dall'altra parte, volevo avere un impatto nella società, cambiare un po 'il mondo.

¿Com'è stato il colpo ad Anticoli Corrado?

Quando ero sull'aereo per lasciare Madrid, ho pensato che forse l'aereo non poteva decollare e non sarei stato in grado di lasciare quella vita e quella realtà. Ma alla fine l'aereo è decollato e io ho lasciato la città, i grattacieli, la mia vita precedente e tutto dietro. Così, quando sono arrivata ad Anticoli, mi sono sentita come in un sogno, un nuovo mondo diverso ma in una nuova vita dove ricominciare, trovare nuove possibilità e imparare tanto.

La sfida principale per me è….

Superate le barriere linguistiche, inglese e italiano ma “piano a piano”. D'altra parte, tutti sono venuti qui con delle aspettative, che dovevamo fissare alla realtà e trovare una motivazione per sentirci bene qui. Ora abbiamo uno scopo chiaro e lavoriamo insieme per raggiungerlo.

Il compito e le attività principali che ho svolto questo primo mese sono stati ...

Fare presentazioni sull'economia, la ricerca e la conoscenza del territorio, lavorare a Il Casone, elaborare il Piano d'Azione e lavorare in linea con questo Piano d'Azione

Il momento migliore durante il volontariato in questo momento è stato ...

Vedere il Colosseo è stato qualcosa di inverosimile e incredibile che non potrò mai cancellare dalla memoria, ma anche, conservo ogni momento che vivo con la grande squadra di persone che sono qui ei bei momenti che abbiamo passato con la gente di Anticoli.

La mia prima impressione di Anticoli Corrado è stata ...

Ricordo che mi sembrava una follia essere in un sogno. Quando sono arrivato, sono andato in terrazza e intorno era tutto buio ma sullo sfondo Roviano era illuminato, migliaia di stelle sopra di me e ora ero ad Anticoli, con il suono della fontana Martini e della piazza illuminata ... trasmetteva per me tranquillità, sentivo di essere nel posto giusto.

Qualcosa di sorprendente / divertente nella cultura di Anticoli o in Italia è che...

Il popolo Anticoli è stato molto aperto, amichevole e generoso con noi. Stiamo imparando molto sulla zona grazie a loro e ci trattano da pari e senza alcuna paura o avversione. Quando vieni dall'estero in un nuovo paese e non conosci nessuno, questi gesti sono molto apprezzati.

I can´t live without…

Learning and grow up, traveling and new experiences

Environment, sustainable development, tourism, integration and reactivation of the territory.

I decided to become in a volunteer because…

I had never lived out of Spain, I didn´t have an experience abroad, and for other part, I wanted to make an impact in the society, to change a bit the world.

How was the chage to Anticoli Corrado?

When I was in the plane for leaving Madrid, I thought maybe the plane couldn´t take off and I wouldn´t be able to left that life and that reality. But at the end, the plane took off and I left the city, the skyscrapers, my previous life and everything behind. So, when I arrived to Anticoli, I felt like in a dream, a new different world but in a new life where begin again, find new chances and learning so much.

The main challenge for me is to….

Overcome the language barriers, English and Italian but “piano a piano”. From another part, everyone came here with some expectations, that we had to fix to the reality and find a motivation for feeling good here. Now we have a clear purpose and we work together to achieve it.

The main task and activities that I did this first month were…

Making presentations about economy, research and learning about the territory, working in Il Casone, elaboration of the Action Plan and working in the line of this action plan

The best moment during volunteering at this moment has been…

Seeing the  Roman Coliseum, it has been something implausible and incredible that I will never be able to delete from memory, but also, I keep every moment that I live with the great team of people who are here and the good times that we spent with the people of Anticoli.

My first impression of Anticoli Corrado was ...

I remember that it seemed crazy to me, to be in a dream.  When I arrived, I went to the terrace and everything was dark around but in the background Roviano was illuminated, thousands of stars above me and now I was in Anticoli, with the sound of the Martini fountain and the illuminated square... it transmitted to me tranquillity, I felt that I was in the right place.

Something surprising/funny about the culture of Anticoli or Italy is that...

The Anticoli people has been very open, friendly and generous with us. We are learning a lot about the area thanks to them and they treat us as equals and without any fear or aversion. When you come from abroad to a new country and you don't know anyone, these gestures are greatly appreciated.
