Festa di primavera!

Sabato mattina sono venuti anche i bambini della scuola di Anticoli Corrado. Per i bambini abbiamo organizzato una merenda e anche molte attività con le piante. Loro e i loro genitori sono stati veramente contenti: qualcosa di diverso da fare, tutti insieme, al sole, rilassati.
Il weekend di primavera è stato davvero un successo!
Aprile - l´ultimo mese sta arrivando!
Questa fine settimana, io e Bertrand andremo a Roccantica, un paese vicino a Roma, circa a 70 km. Lì avremo un weekend con altri volontari: trekking nella montagna, cucineremo insieme e condivideremo la nostra esperienza SVE. Mi piace sempre vedere posti nuovi e passare il tempo con gli altri e quindi, non vedo l'ora di andare lì!
Adesso mancano solo 6 settimane qua in Italia. Il 3 maggio ritornerò in Finlandia. Fortunatamente ci sono ancora molte cose divertenti e interessanti durante il mese di aprile: la prossima settimana andrò con la mia amica a visitare Pompei e Sorrento e prima di pasqua, invece, arriverano mia sorella e una mia amica dalla Finlandia! 😊 E quindi, al momento, sono molto contenta, ma credo che quando dovremo partire sarà difficile...

The event had many activities: a workshop in the
garden; baking home-made bread; goatcheese tasting; a cooking contest. On
sunday, the lunch was prepared by the participants of the cooking contest: they
were divided in three teams. Every team had to prepare one dish with the
specific ingredients. None of these teams couldn't decide the ingredients: they
were selected by others. Therefore the dishes were really creative. For example, as first course we ate pasta with "tartar" of kiwi and corn flakes 😁
On Saturday morning, the children from the school of Anticoli Corrado came here. For them we arranged a snack and also activities with the plants. Children and their parents were truly pleased: something different to do, all together, on the sun, relaxing.
The weekend of the spring was indeed a success!
April - the final month is arriving!
This weekend, I and Bertrand will go to Roccantica, a town about 70 km north from Rome. There we'll pass a weekend with other volunteers: hiking in the mountains, cooking together and sharing our experiences of EVS. I always like to see new places and pass time with others so, I can't wait to go there!
Now only 6 weeks are left here in Italy. 3rd of March I'll go back to Finland. Luckily there are still many funny and interesting things coming in April: the next week I'll visit Pompei and Sorrento with my friend and before Easter, instead, will arrive my sister and one of my friends from Finland! 😊 That's why, I'm very happy in this moment, but I believe that the moment of leaving will be difficult...

La settimana scorsa abbiamo festeggiato la primavera
qua, al Casone. Molte persone sono arrivate per la festa di primavera (https://www.facebook.com/events/1794435744192664/).
Abbiamo ospitato un gruppo dell´associazione di promozione sociale SCOSSE (http://www.scosse.org/)
e altre persone. Abbiamo lavorato insieme nell'orto e piantato verdure:
melanzane, zucchine, pomodori, spinaci... Speriamo che le verdure crescano
bene!
La festa aveva molte attività: laboratorio nell'orto; pane fatto in casa;
degustazione del formaggio di capra; contest enogastronomico. Domenica il
pranzo è stato preparato attraverso un contest da tutti i partecipanti:
questi sono stati divisi in tre squadre. Ogni squadra
ha dovuto preparare un piatto con degli ingredienti specifici. Nessuna
squadra ha potuto decidere gli ingredienti: è stato il caso a
selezionarli! Quindi i piatti sono stati davvero molto creativi. Per esempio,
come primo piatto abbiamo mangiato la pasta accompagnata da "una

Last week we were celebrating spring here in Il
